-since this was the last show, we obviously just played a lot of songs we liked.
-we have been meaning to break that Weather Report record on the air for a while now.
-in the Record Olympics 1) both LPs contending for thickest record were Folkways albums. 2) the Miles Davis record really did not have that much surface noise at all. Nice, I can listen to it now. 3) the Record Race was EXTREMELY close. They ended up on top of each other, but with Leadbelly a few centimeters farther than Arthur Doyle.
-we have always wanted to play Bat Out Of Hell on the radio.
-there will be information about radio shows rising from the ashes of Strong Little Legs. John is going to Pittsburgh, Ben still has a few more shows in him before he goes to Ireland (?), and I will maybe stay in the same time-slot.

-WPRB still does not have an actual copy of Velvet Underground And Nico
-the last speaking break of the night's show was allegedly broadcast into the whole audience of Princeton's McCarter Theatre during Saturday's performance by They Might Be Giants at said venue
-that live version of the MC5's 'Black To Comm' is astounding. It's 13 minutes long and features guest saxophone by John Sinclair, and it delivers on the promises of the 5's free jazz influence in ways I thought I would never hear.

-A Good Show
-A cover band was recording in the studio during most of the show. A great fucking nuisance that was.
-Interesting Phone Calls- A guy called who said he was really enjoying the show, asked what Bob Dylan was doing these days, and then asked if we could play 50cent because he had been hearing a lot about him. A lady requested Devil Went Down To Georgia and asked to have it dedicated to another woman.
-Dan Buskirk called our show Small Little Eggs. I think that will be the name of the forthcoming Strong Little Legs periodical.
-The new GZA album is surprisingly good.
